Attended the Black History Month Job Fair today at Elmwood High School. There are opportunities to serve at various levels of Law Enforcement or with our Armed Forces. The event was well attended and great conversations ensued. Thank you to the organizers and employers who participated.
Highlight of the day, reading to pre-schoolers and a grade 4 class at Lord Nelson School in the Winnipeg School Division. All were curious and very well behaved. Thank you for inviting the Deputy Mayor to read to you for “I Love to Read Month”.
