Now accepting applications for positions on Boards and Commissions

The City of Winnipeg is accepting applications from August 1, 2019 to October 18, 2019.

The City Clerk’s Department initiates an annual selection process to fill citizen member positions to Boards and Commissions on which there are imminent or existing vacancies.

Canadian citizens who reside in Winnipeg and who are entitled to vote in municipal elections are eligible to apply for these positions. Applications must be received by the City Clerk’s Department no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019 or postmarked no later than Friday, October 18, 2019.

Stadium Station Decorative Panels – Southwest Transitway

Winnipeg Transit plans to install six large panels with graphics to decorate Stadium Station, located beside Investors Group Field at the University of Manitoba, as part of the Southwest Transitway project. A total of 548 Winnipeggers voted for their favourite graphics theme from June 19 to July 19, 2019.

Sports fans cheered the loudest!  The new decorative panels at Stadium Station will be sports-themed and are anticipated to be installed in the fall.
