Winnipeg Transit Public Engagement

The City of Winnipeg Transit Depatment is kicking off two new transit projects and is inviting Winnipeggers to share their input over the next month.

The Winnipeg Transit Master Plan project is a 25-year plan that will cover all aspects of the transit system, while the Southwest Rapid Transitway Route Planning project will focus on improving bus routes in southwest Winnipeg that will coincide with the opening of the Southwest Rapid Transitway (Stage 2) in spring 2020.

More information on the two projects can be found by clicking on the links below.

We Want to Hear From You!

Winnipeg Transit is proposing improved bus routes in southwest Winnipeg that will coincide with the opening of the Southwest Transitway (Stage 2) in spring 2020. Please visit the Routes tab for more information.

Review the presentation boards and take the online survey to share your input with the project team. The online survey will be available from March 15 to April 15, 2019.

The Ideas in Motion bus will also be popping up in communities throughout southwest Winnipeg in early April. The Ideas in Motion bus will give Winnipeggers the opportunity to view the proposed route improvements and provide input to Winnipeg Transit staff.
